With more than 20 years of experience, Arthur has been active in both corporate and family finance. He supports client due diligence for the execution of credit analysis and oversees the credit compliance function. He also supervises the execution of client advisory engagements and acts as Chief Financial Officer of New York Private Finance.
Arthur joined NYPF after co-founding and serving as Chief Operating Officer of Boxwood Strategic Advisors, an advisory firm to wealthy families and entrepreneurs. At Boxwood, Arthur was responsible for the execution of engagements and the operating activities of the firm.
Prior to that, Arthur worked for 17 years as an investment banker for both international investment banks and a US boutique specializing in technology. He served as Managing Director at Kaufman Bros., L.P., a specialized investment bank focused on communications technology, where he was responsible for the Enterprise Software practice. At Kaufman, Arthur worked with both public companies and entrepreneurial private businesses to secure financing and conduct merger and acquisition transactions. Arthur began his career at Nomura Securities International in 1987 and spent nearly nine years as a key member of the corporate finance group working on M&A, IPO’s, High Yield bond issuance and Leveraged Corporate Lending. After Nomura, Arthur joined ING Barings to work in the Latin American M&A group in 1998, where he traveled extensively, meeting and working with wealthy families as they acquired and divested businesses.
Arthur is a graduate of Columbia University, and earned his MBA from Northeastern University.
